What’s new in the latest version of our nesting software?

New features in Astra R-Nesting 5.2

Astra R-Nesting 5.2 was released on April 30, 2010. The new version of the nesting software supports inventory monitoring, postprocessors for Mayer and Felder cutting machine, as well as configurable import from Excel and CADWORK. The new features of Astra R-Nesting 5.2 make the program more universal and expand its inventory tracking capabilities: 1) Inventory monitoring and reporting features enable users to generate detailed reports on materials added and used over specific periods of time. 2) Order merging allows users to merge several orders into a single one to maximize cutting efficiency. 3) Postprocessors for Mayer and Felder cutting machine expanded the list of supported hardware. 4) Configurable import from Excel allows users to import orders into the nesting software from an arbitrary Excel spreadsheet. 5) Configurable import from CADWORK allows users to import orders from this popular woodwork design application.
